in the kiwi corner, a chef whose experience ranges from wellington to san francisco, from london to melbourne, where he directed culinary operations at famed eateries supernatural, cumulus, and cutler & co. whose current restaurant has just retained its cuisine 2-hat status and has been named new zealand winery restaurant of the year.

in the irish corner, a chef who moved to new zealand in 2010, who has spent over half of his life in the finest kitchens in the world including michelin-starred mint in ireland and multi-award winning tetsuya’s in australia. in auckland he helmed ortolana, before joining SOUL in 2017 as executive chef, leading the viaduct icon to attain a coveted cuisine hat for 2 consecutive years.

together these culinary maestros join forces to create an evening of exceptional food and outstanding wine which unites the best of hawke’s bay with the best of tamaki makaurau.
